About National Security Agency
National Security Agency is the largest US intelligence agency subordinate to the Ministry of Defense. It was launched by President Truman in 1952 and is headquartered in Fort Meade, Maryland. The Agency produces and manages intelligence signals, ensures information security for the US Government, collects and interprets relevant data and information all over the world, with the permission to use specialized means, such as bugs, listening systems, etc. The National Security Agency also maintains anti-terrorism function, thus is able to listen to cell phone communications, track internet traffic content, follow movement of people, as well as has access to software encryptions and may cause their cyber-attacks.
